HNX opens trading sessions from 9:00 to 15:00 on weekdays from Monday to Friday, with a break from 11:30 to 13:00 before trading resumes. HNX will be closed on weekends, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays according to regulations…

Odd-lot orders are matched continuously from 9:00 to 14:30, with a break in the middle of the session from 11:30 to 13:00.

(1) Even lot trading:

– 9:00 to 14:30: Continuous order matching (mid-session break from 11:30 to 13:00).

– 14:30 to 14:45: Periodic order matching to determine closing price.

(2) Odd lot trading:

– 9:00 to 14:30: Continuous order matching (mid-session break from 11:30 to 13:00).

Bond transactions at HNX will be executed throughout the session from 9:00 to 15:00; with a break in the middle of the session from 11:30 to 13:00.

Enterprises must meet the following conditions:

+ Charter capital of at least VND 30 billion calculated on the audit report

+ At least 01 year of operation in the form of a joint stock company (except for state-owned enterprises equitized with listing activities).

+ The year preceding the year of registration for listing must be profitable

+ ROE – The ratio of profit on equity in the most recent year is at least 5%, no overdue debt for more than 01 year, no accumulated loss up to the time of registration for listing.

+ At least 15% of voting shares are held by at least 100 shareholders who are not major shareholders.

+ Shares have been traded on UPCOM for at least 02 years.

Put through transactions at HNX will be executed throughout the session from 9:00 to 15:00; with a break in the middle of the session from 11:30 to 13:00.

– Continuous order matching session 1: LO, MTL, MOK, MAK. 

– Periodic order matching session 2: LO, ATC.

– After-hours order matching session 3: PLO.

– Normal trading day: ± 10% 

– First trading day of securities listed on the floor: ± 30% 

– Trading day after being suspended for 25 days or more: ± 30% 

– Trading day without the right to pay dividends or bonuses in treasury shares to existing shareholders: ± 30%

– Matching orders in even lots: 100 shares per order. 

– Matching orders in odd lots: 1 to 99 shares per order. 

– Put through transactions: no trading unit is specified, the minimum even lot is 5,000 shares. 

– Bonds: 1

(1) Order matching method:

– For stocks: 100 VND.

– For ETF certificates, Bonds: 1 VND

(2) Negotiated transactions: No regulation on the unit of quotation.

– During the continuous order matching session: Orders can be modified or canceled if the order or the remaining part of the order has not been matched. 

– During the periodic order matching session: Orders placed during the periodic order matching session and orders transferred from the continuous order matching session cannot be modified or canceled. 

– During the after-hours order matching session: PLO orders cannot be modified or canceled.

Ceiling price = Reference price + (reference price x price fluctuation range)

Floor price = Reference price – (reference price x price fluctuation range)

The reference price is the closing price of the most recent previous trading day or the listed price for newly listed securities on the floor.
