Debt Ratio (Symbol Tln): is the Percentage (%) of Available Money (Max Withdraw Balance) over the minimum value between the Margin Securities Value and the Loan Limit at a given time.

The debt ratio is determined by the following formula:

Debt ratio = Total Debt/ Total Loanable value

Loanble Value = Securities Amount x Price x loan rate

The total outstanding loan balance is the total outstanding debt (principal, interest, fees) that the Customer has borrowed from ACBS to conduct Margin Trading to buy securities and the custody fees, extension fees arising on the margin account that must be paid to ACBS, shown by a debit entry on the Customer’s margin account.

The initial margin ratio currently applied at ACBS is at a minimum of 50% and may change according to the regulations of the State Securities Commission or ACBS.

According to regulations, the term of a margin loan issued by ACBS shall not exceed 03 months from the date of loan disbursement. ACBS may continue to consider extending the loan for a maximum of 02 times and each time shall not exceed 03 months based on the customer’s written request and the actual situation of each period. Customers must pay the extension fee according to ACBS’s regulations.

According to regulations, Customers are only allowed to apply for an extension of loans at ACBS with a remaining loan term of less than 30 days (as of the nearest loan expiration date).

09 days before the loan expiration date (or on the next working day if this day is a holiday), ACBS will send a notice to the Customer about the loan expiring via Email/SMS.

According to regulations, extending a loan will incur an extension fee.

Extension Fee = Loan balance at the end of the day preceding the date approved for extension by ACBS x Extension rate

On the date the Customer’s loans are approved for extension by ACBS, the Customer can deposit money to pay or ACBS will record an increase in the outstanding balance in the Customer’s margin trading account equal to the extension fee that the Customer must pay to ACBS.

Yes. You can pay off your loan early at any time and just deposit money into your margin account, the ACBS system will automatically collect and offset the debt at the end of the day.

If the loan is not agreed to extend, the Customer must pay and ACBS will start selling securities on the Customer’s account to recover the debt on the 5th working day after the loan’s expiration date.

Yes. According to regulations, on the additional margin call date, which is day T, by the beginning of day T+3, ACBS will process the sale of the Client’s securities if the additional margin call is still valid. In addition, if during the monitoring period for processing the additional margin call (from day T to T+2), if the Debt Ratio (Tln) < 30%, ACBS will process the sale of securities on the next trading day without prior notice to the Client.
