HOSE is the abbreviation of Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange. Established in 2007 under the Prime Minister’s Decision. HOSE is a state-owned legal entity, organized as a single-member LLC, operating under the Securities Law, Enterprise Law, the Charter of the Stock Exchange and other relevant legal provisions.

Stocks, Closed-end Fund Certificates, ETF Fund Certificates, Covered Warrants, Bonds, etc.

HOSE opens trading sessions from 9:00 to 15:00 on weekdays from Monday to Friday, with a break from 11:30 to 13:00 for trading again. HOSE will be closed on weekends, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays according to regulations…

Continuous order matching method.

(1) Even lot transactions:

– 9:00 to 9:15: Periodic order matching determines opening price.

– 9:15 to 14:30: Continuous order matching (mid-session break from 11:30 to 13:00).

– 14:30 to 14:45: Periodic order matching determines closing price.

(2) Odd lot transactions:

– 9:15 to 14:30: Continuous order matching (mid-session break from 11:30 to 13:00).

Odd-lot orders are matched continuously from 9:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a break from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m

– Periodic order matching session 1: LO, ATO. 

– Continuous order matching session 2: LO, MTL. 

– Periodic order matching session 3: LO, ATC.

Negotiated transactions at HOSE will be executed throughout the session from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; with a break from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Bond transactions at HOSE will be executed throughout the session from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; with a break from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Enterprises must meet the following conditions:

+ Continuously profitable for 2 years.

+ At least 1 year of operation in the form of a joint stock company (except for state-owned enterprises equitized with listing activities).

+ Charter capital of at least VND 80 billion (recorded on accounting book value) and must have at least 100 shareholders outside the company holding at least 20% of shares. For foreign joint ventures, it is necessary to reorganize into a joint stock company to be listed on the exchange.

+ ROE – The ratio of profit on equity in the most recent year is at least 5%, no overdue debt for more than 1 year, no accumulated loss up to the time of registration for listing.

+ Accept audit and publicize financial reports every quarter of the year.
